Virtual Visits To Some Beautiful Naples Florida Parks

By Jony Mozen

Few experiences equal that of walking along a beach breathing in the salt air and enjoying the sounds of life around you. Seagulls singing their often discordant songs, the surf washing up mysteries of the deep and seashells glistening in the sun and moon light. Let's take a few moment to virtually visit these Naples Florida Parks

Speaking of mysteries, Mound Key Archaeological State Park is actually an island in the heart of Estero Bay that is believed to be the capital of Calusa Indians. Their culture relied heavily on using shells to build their crafts and housing and they even build the island itself from these beautiful local shells. Of course the island is protected and the only access is by boat, so call ahead for scheduling.

They say you won't believe just how pristine the beaches are at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park where a literal world of tropical paradise exists for your arrival. The Cocohatchee River helped create this wonderland where people go snorkeling the reef, boating and fishing in designated areas, help themselves to bird-watching at its very best. You can even rent sand wheelchairs if you call ahead.

Away from the upscale Vanderbuilt Beach is lovely Clam Pass Park where visitors enjoy 35 acres of habitat and preserves accessed by a three-quarter-mile boardwalk to please any nature walkers. It runs through a Mangrove forest which serves as a breeding ground full of eddies and pools where marine life, wildlife and many species of birds are nursed into self-sustaining condition to support themselves.

If you hate traveling because it means leaving your canine family members at a kennel, then hate no more. The Black Island Trail Walk is not only dog friendly at Lovers Key State Park they can play and have fun with you, too. It makes the prefect place for animal lovers to go fishing, kayaking or cuddling as they are shuttled from the parking area that is 1000 feet from the beach.

RVers are known to frequent Lowdermilk Park where they find both unmetered and metered parking slips. There is a beach permit required but that only helps ensure the beaches stay clean and beautiful for many generations to come. It offers a pavilion for rent, two playgrounds, two gazebos, a concession stand, volley ball courts in the sand, and picnic tables for outdoor dining.

And there is one more kind of Parks in Naples Florida where people who come to visit end up deciding to stay after they find a very affordable 3 br, 2 bath, home for sale or rent, with all amenities included. These quiet residential areas are every bit as peaceful as being out on the evening beach, but include the privacy you want along with all your conveniences and personal property at the ready.

Vacations are wonderful and everyone feels a sense of relaxation and a seriously needed change of pace. The Parks in Naples Florida offer so much to see and do that it could take a lifetime of vacations to see them all. Just so you don't miss out on anything perhaps you should consider making this tropical area your home.
