Another technique you can learn in martial arts is the aikido. This skill is usually common in women as the physical strength and movement involved is little. The skill will enable you to use your strength to defend yourself. The trick with this technique is to use the attackers strength to defeat him. You will learn to be alert as a way of protecting yourself instead of using a lot of strength.

In case the attacker has weapons like knives or gun, you need to have the techniques of Kray Maga so as to be able to handle them. This art technique is a mixture of other techniques like karate, taekwondo, and judo. In this technique, you are taught on how to disarm the attacker by first targeting the weakest points to make the attacker destructed.

Also, there are some tools that you can get so that they help you defend yourself. One is the pepper spray that you can spray the attacker in the eyes so that they are defenseless. You should make sure that you know how to use it and check to see that it has not expired. Another one is a whistle that you can use to alert people that someone is attacking you. The main thing to check before you get one is to make sure that it is loud enough.
